Region

Located in the South-West of France the Languedoc area enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year.
Real estate here is cheaper than Provence, yet the surroundings are just as beautiful, if not more.
The wine growing area of the Minervois, stretches between Narbonne and Carcassonne, with the beaches of the Mediterranean only 30 minutes away. Steeped in history, the area is famous for it’s Cathar castles, the Canal du Midi and, of course Carcassonne fortress – the second most visited
place in France. In fact, since time began the area has always been popular, firstly with the Greeks settling here, then the Romans, followed by the Cathars – even Hannibal passed
through with his elephants.
The area is rich with stone built houses, wine growers homes and domaines nestled in between vineyards, limestone gorges and the garrigue. It’s easily accessible by numerous airports and airlines, less than an hour away – Carcassonne, Beziers, Perpignan, and then the bigger international airports of Montpellier, Toulouse and Barcelona.
